ARTISCEND MEDIA - THE BRAND & THE MISSION

Whatever you take in IS what you'll put out. For awhile, media was serving up nothing but negative spin and sensationalism. With the corporate race for eyes and attention in full swing, traditional press and growing social media platforms became an incessant bombardment of click-bait headlines, misinformation, "shock value" journalism, and "if-it-bleeds-it-leads" story selection.  

In 2016, Artiscend Founders Mossette Heath, Terence Trent, and James Randolph set out to change that by developing a media platform that would not only spotlight the hard work of community-centered artists and organizations but create a sustainable avenue for said artist and organizations to receive recognition and reward for their commitment to integrity and service.    

Today, Artiscend continues that mission through a first-of-its-kind interactive book, community engagement events, and a digital media presence that seeks to celebrate inspiring artists, organizations and everyday people who are committed to community empowerment.
